What is DDU-GYK ?

DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana) is a skill development program by the Government of India, aimed at providing training and placement opportunities to rural youth from poor families. It targets young men and women aged between 15 to 35 years, who have not completed their formal education and come from families with an annual income of less than Rs. 3 lakhs. The program provides training in various sectors and also offers support services such as counseling and pre employment support to ensure the success of the trained candidates.
